I have been to Normandy to visit Omaha Beach and the cemetary's of the Soldiers, it was an very impressive sight. I want? to go back there because its very good history and to pay my respect to all fallen Soldiers from the Allied but also for the Axis, because the soldiers of the Axis did there job as did the allied soldiers.

This generation who fought in WWII is slipping away from us. They really were America's best generation for all-time. My father was a demolitions expert in North Africa.? He died in '95. God Bless all these souls.

Airborne troopers rock! Infarty man rocks! The tank not so rock!(Coz on Ohama the tank came AFTER the invasion) The Ships cannon firing rocks! Bombers bombing them rocks! Soldiers,Sea men,Air men of the Allied force rocks! EVERYONE ROCKS! P.S:I still do mean the Axis force coz they fought ONLY because of Hitler's orders if Hitler got killed well,it would be a diffrent story... :) @mike52038? There were a? total of 110 countries fought in the WW2 other than US, Canada, UK, Italy, Japan and Germany, sadly these? countries are still hardly recognized for!

@KillTheHipHop -? Translation in English "I was too cowardly to fight for the Fatherland" . About a third of the defending German soldiers were in fact other eastern european nationals. Czech, Ukrainian, Romanian...They were told to fight against the allies or have their families executed...A lot of them put their hands up on D-Day without firing a shot. In one instance 60 "German" soldiers surrendered to 2 British soldiers at a Gun Emplacement on operation Morris. They just wanted it to be over.

@MegaLordBane much Wehrmacht soldier try to be good but if they not do what they have to do the ss or the sa came and hang up on a tree whit a label ( sorry I can't translate it right so go on? google !?) " ich war zu feige um vür mein father Land zu kämpfen" so it was a devils circle :/

@pquinn96 This isn't a history competition, yes the ss was responsible for a lot innocent deaths. But the Wehrmacht was no better. They raped, killed civilians and maltreated POW's. You can look it up. So? how about you have an open mind and look at things from other points of view.

@TheAdjundantReflex Obviously you know nothing about the Wehrmacht, the Wehrmacht was the regular Germany army, and not murderers youre? talking about. The SS slaughtered innocent civilians, but were also fighting for what they beleived was right. Try to have an open mind and look at things from other points of veiw.

@WatchTheTrailers Winners write the history. Had the Allies lost, then we would had been the? bad guys. The Germans simply fought for their cause and the Allies and Russians for their causes.
