The term 'trust' has too much baggage. Saying that 'you can trust science' will still? come off to many idiots like a call to brainwashing. Nobody trusts anyone anymore, take advantage of that and don't ask them to trust in anything.

Relligion vs Science has been going on for thousands of years. I'm not atheist. I have no religious affiliation at all. I do believe there are some things that science cannot explained. Science isn't perfect. But neither is religion. Nothing is ever 100%. It's ever as simple as black and white, right and wrong or anything. Theres always grey area. Whether it be in religion or science or justice or what have you. I do believe my eyes, and until i see a miracle for myself, religion? is just hearsay

If you know how to stop war in Africa and the middle east, then tell us, if you know how to stop drug crime and corruption in south america then tell us. What makes you think no one is trying. "No future discovery will cause the earth to be any other shape" Although it's ridiculously unlikely the scientific method cannot prove anything as 100% true so theoretically there is a minute chance the earth is flat. I read an article? recently which explained how a star's information could be encoded on a black holes event horizon, effectively making it 2d. I don't completely understand the article, nor do I think the earth is flat... Not quite sure where I'm going with this now...

I am an atheist;? however, there are a few aspects I appreciate about religion. Religious texts are very beautiful works of literature. Not so much as moral guides, obviously, but if you just read how the stories are written, they're beautiful. Also, religion gave us beautiful church music, and as a singer I can appreciate that. Finally, the basic building blocks of religion can encourage good acts that some might not do otherwise. But yes, I agree, science has had a way bigger and better impact.

I'm a believer in science, but I'm also a believer in my own personal spirituality (Not religion lol). For me spirituality is my set of ideas and beliefs? that science will one day explain. Basically my own hypothesis on what life and the universe is.

So basically, nothing in science is impossibe....its either 'yes this happens' or 'well we dont have evidence for that right now' because if you were to say for certain that something isnt possible, with the nature of science... you could later? look like a complete idiot. I think, people that believe in god, just want an 'its possible'. God unfortunately is a personal experience, similar to happiness, you cant prove happiness...I do agree though that religion is complete bullshit.

@mikeymikemikey1 Yes, also Dutch and Polish at the same time. YT is an english practice for me, just when my head is full of 5 different languages, the process is way slower. But i never had misunderstanding with people? who understand my logic, even my english is poor. If you want to understand then ask, don't waist your time searching people to tell them what they know themselfs. Actualy tis not practice, tis 5 languages in my head+ didn't sleep for long time. Satisfied? :)

@FALCO64125 No need. I just? tried to find an example for what we should do with our saved energy( bilions of) and what not. In this case- to clean own garden, not to search for a new ones. Everysecond mentioned scientific invention is succesfully used to help to rich to achieve their goals.
