Private Jet Charters Will Get You To Your Destination Relaxed And Rested

By Chris Channing

Private jet charters offer the most convenient way to fly, especially if your trip is for business reasons. Commercial airlines have been forced to introduce a myriad of new security regulations. This frequently results in erratic departure and arrival times, causing a great deal of frustration.

A private jet will provide total flexibility and convenience because everything goes in accordance with your requests. You can select the time and place of departure and the destination airport. Commercial airlines are limited to the use of 500 USA airports, whereas a charter jet can choose from no less than 5,000 airports because many are owned privately.

The time you spend in the air will be much the same as a commercial flight, but you will be saved a lot of time and hassle when it comes to your luggage. This will be loaded on the plane when you get on board. As soon as you land, you will be able to access it. Quite different to hanging around for ages waiting for your luggage after a commercial flight!

All onboard facilities, catering and other services can be pre-selected when you book the flight. You can do business during the flight or even have a meeting. Or you might just prefer to kick back and relax in large sumptuous seats and enjoy fine cuisine and excellent service.

The type of aircraft will be dependent on the number of passengers and what distance will be traveled. Turboprops are a popular choice for flights up to 4 hours. They can comfortably seat up to 20 people and are able to handle heavy loads and land with ease on the shortest of runways. Then there's a business jet - very fast and able to travel any distance.

An executive jet can carry up to 150 passengers, but you don't have to fill all the seats to book the aircraft. Many people choose this type of aircraft even if they are traveling alone or with a few passengers, simply because of the superb amenities and luxurious comfort. Remember that the whole point of flying by private charter is to cater to your needs, no matter what they may be.

On the safety aspect, rest assured that all reputable companies that specialize in private jet charters are obliged to adhere to stringent safety directives. Pilots are fully registered and all have undergone appropriate training. The safety track records of charter companies are constantly monitored by the Aviation Research Group of the United States (ARGUS). If you have any doubts, you are quite entitled to ask the company if its pilots are in possession of ARGUS ratings.
