Gold Coast Australia Travel Destinations - Coolangatta

Coolangatta is a city in the southern part of Gold Coast Australia, very close to the border between Queensland and New South Wales. The airport of Gold Coast is situated here. You can fly to the Great Barrier Reef in the south and come back within a day. The beaches in the northern side of Coolangatta, Rainbow Bay and Greenmount are famous as surfing and swimming beaches, apart from Duranbah and Snapper Rocks, also known as Flagstaff Beach. The Captain Cook lighthouse is a great local attraction and a significant point of interest for all tourists and visitors.
